2 held with fake currency
The Sriganganagar police claimed to have busted a fake currency racket and nabbed Rajpal of Badopal village and his nephew Mohit. Fake currency with a face value of Rs 5,000 was seized from them.

SGPC buys land for college
The SGPC has purchased 18.5 acres for the Khalsa College in Patiala at a cost of Rs 73 crore. College Principal Dr Dharminder Ubha said they had fought a long legal battle, during which the ownership of the land was awarded to the rival party.
