Panchkula: A 32-year-old father of three allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Madawala village, Pinjore, on Wednesday.

Panchkula: A 32-year-old father of three allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Madawala village, Pinjore, on Wednesday. Varun Kumar Rai was running a tobacco and pan shop in the village and was reportedly under a heavy bank loan. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. Madawala ASI Vinod visited the spot. No suicide note was recovered.

Around 11 am, when his children were asleep and his wife Ganga was washing clothes, Rai hanged himself from a ceiling fan. TNS
