Trek bike services in Mussoorie

Municipal Council president Manmohan Singh Mall inaugurated an adventure trekking bike service to promote adventure tourism from Company Garden to Hathipaon here on Sunday.

Manmohan Mall along with former Mussoorie MLA Jot Singh Gunsola cut the ceremonial ribbon at Hathipaon. He said this would be an added attraction for tourists in Mussoorie. Aero sports were also started at Hathipaon but had to be stopped due to the President’s rule and the political crisis that engulfed the state a few months ago.

Four bikes wiouldbe used to start with. More bikes would be brought for tourists as the demand increases. Yusuf Khan, who owns the service, said these bikes were manufactured in the USA and could climb at 75 degrees uphill. The bikes could run smoothly in rough roads and small bridle paths. Manmohan Mall and Gunsola rode the bikes on the occasion.
