A two-day training programme for advocates concluded at the ADR Centre here today. It was organised by the District Legal Services Authority under the chairmanship of Deepak Gupta, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, DLSA.

Archana Yadav, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, DLSA, said up to date knowledge regarding amended Acts and new procedures was given to advocates so they could provide services under the Legal Service Authorities Act.

Master trainers Arvind Khurania and Manbir Rathi, imparted training on motor accident claim, the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 with model Rules, 2016, the Rights of Prisoners and Employees Compensation Act, the Labour Law and Industrial Dispute Act, among others.
