Chandigarh, February 10

Tragedy has struck Akansh’s family once again. The family has lost its second son. Earlier in 1988, the victim’s elder brother had died in a road accident.

A family friend, who had reached the PGI to be with the family in this tough time, said Akansh’s elder brother, Sidharth, had died in a road accident a year before Akansh was born.

“Akansh’s brother had died in 1988 in a road accident near Karnal. A year later, the family was blessed with Akansh,” the family friend said.

The victim’s family and relatives were inconsolable after they were informed about his death. Akansh, a native of Kuthad village in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, was the son of the brother of Virbhadra’s wife. Vikramaditya Singh, son of the Himachal Chief Minister, and his mother Pratibha Singh were at the hospital along with the victim’s family.

Sources said Akansh, son of Arun Sen, was humble and soft spoken. He was putting up at his house in Panchkula. The victim is survived by his parents and a sister, who is married.
