Mohali, October 22

The police have announced traffic restrictions during the 3rd ODI between India and New Zealand to be held tomorrow.

Harbir Singh Atwal, SP, Traffic , said today that traffic on the main road from Phase VII towards the PCA Stadium here would be diverted towards the Sector 68-69 chowk. The main road outside the stadium would be closed to the general public. Only residents living in the vicinity of the stadium or shopkeepers of that area would be allowed to use that road. They had been issued passes in this regard.

The SP said traffic would not be allowed to enter the stadium road even from the NIPER road. However, this time vehicles would be  permitted via the Phases X and XI intersection, which used to be closed earlier. Traffic would be diverted from near the Housing Board chowk.

Entry towards the PCA stadium from the Sector 48-49 area would  also be  closed.
