Trade fair begins at Gole Market

Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE), Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Choudhary inaugurated a trade fair and children amusement rides at Gole Market in Gandhi Nagar here today.

The minister also went around the stalls installed by traders from local areas and from outside the state. He appreciated the efforts of the traders and showed his keen interest in the event. He said such trade fairs would prove beneficial for people.

Such exhibitions should be organised every year to provide a platform to entrepreneurs to sell their products and share their expertise with first-hand entrepreneurs, he added.

The minister called for a change in the mindset of unemployed youth and asked them to become job providers instead of being job seekers.

The special stalls put on display in the event included Saharanpur furniture, iron and wooden furniture, heavy discounts on books and novels, kitchenware items, footwear, summer special readymade garments, toys, lady’s suits, gift items, roti makers, electronic goods, readymade curtains, handloom foot mats, leather purses, food stalls and kids’ amusement items.
