Three killed in mishap in Pauri Garhwal

DEHRADUN: Three persons, including a couple, were killed while one was seriously injured when the car they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge in Pauri Garhwal today.

Three persons, including a couple, were killed while one was seriously injured when the car they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge in Pauri Garhwal today.

The deceased have been identified as HC Jugran, Beena Jugran and Jagjeet Singh. The injured, Anuj Jugran, has been admitted to a government hospital.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat expressed grief over the incident.

According to information, the ill-fated car fell into a gorge near Parsundakhal. The villagers called police after they saw car’s wreckage in the gorge. A team of policemen reached the spot and conducted the rescue operation. The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination.
