Panchkula, March 2

For the 15th year in a row, The Gurukul school in Sector 20 has won the 'The Best Maintained Garden in a School' award in the ongoing '31st Spring Fest-2017', the annual flower festival of Panchkula, organised by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).

Like all the previous years, the students of the school's ECO Club used the signature 'Green Class' of The Gurukul with 'student dolls' adding flair to different corners of the garden.

The lush green garden, floral curtains created on the walls, exotic variety of flowers, succulents and cacti in an aesthetically landscaped garden

complete with a waterfall are a visual treat for all the visitors to The Gurukul.

The principal of the school, Harsimran Kaur says, “The school is known for its clean, green and polybag-free

campus. The Gurukul takes pride in itself and the students have unrestricted access to the garden and yet it is so well maintained."
