THDCIL pays Rs 105 crore to Centre

DEHRADUN: THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has paid an interim dividend of Rs 104.98 crore to the Central government and Rs 36.91 crore to Uttar Pradesh for financial year 2016-17.

THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has paid an interim dividend of Rs 104.98 crore to the Central government and Rs 36.91 crore to Uttar Pradesh for financial year 2016-17.

DV Singh, CMD, THDCIL, handed over the pay order of Rs. 104.98 crore to Union Minister of State for Power Piyush Goyal in New Delhi yesterday.

PK Pujari, Secretary (Power), Archana Agarwal, Joint Secretary (Hydropower) and Shidhar Patra, Director (Finance), THDCIL, accompanied DV Singh. DV Singh also handed over the pay order of the interim dividend of Rs 36.91 crore to Sanjay Agarwal, Principal Secretary (Energy), Uttar Pradesh, and Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, in Lucknow, today. Sridhar Patra, Director (Finance), THDCIL, was present on the occasion. THDCIL is a joint venture of the Central government and the Uttar Pradesh government in the ratio of 75:25. — TNS
