Teacher suspended for helping daughter in exam

The Chief Education Officer (CEO) today placed under suspension a government teacher for helping his daughter and other students inside an examination centre during the ongoing Class XII examinations.

The teacher, Mohammed Azam, was posted at Government Higher Secondary School at Jamola where his daughter was also appearing in an examination.

On Saturday, a team of observers was sent to the examination centre after several complaints of mass copying where large number of locals, including the accused teacher, were providing copying material to the students.

During investigation, the involvement of the teacher was established and accordingly, he was placed under suspension. He has been attached with a higher secondary school at Khawas till pending enquiry.
