Sukhbir: Cong leader has lost mental balance

Slamming Congress chief spokesperson Sunil Jakhar for hinting at an Akali role in Brig Jagdish Gagneja’s murder, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said here today, “It is an irresponsible statement and was not expected from Jakhar. I think he has lost his mental balance as he is no longer the CLP Leader. He only wants to hog the limelight by making such a statement.”

Addressing a Sangat Darshan here, Sukhbir gave a new twist to the murder of the RSS leader, saying, “This case is akin to the murder of Rulda Singh, a leader of the RSS-affiliated Sikh Sangat who was killed in Patiala in 2009. In that case, the accused had shot him and left for London by the evening flight. The killers seem to have adopted a similar modus operandi in this case.”
