The College of Education, Hardaspur, celebrated World Day of Social Justice, here today. 

College Principal DP Asija said social justice was an underlying principle for a peaceful coexistence within and among nations. 

We uphold the principles of social justice when we promote gender equality or the rights of indigenous peoples and migrants. The United Nations World Day of Social Justice focuses on poverty eradication, achieving full employment and support for social integration.

College MD Rakesh Goyal said it was a day to recognise the need to promote efforts to solve issues such as poverty, exclusion and unemployment. College students Jatinder and Pawan presented their views on World Day of Social Justice. Staff members and students took oath to promote gender equality and social justice.
