Sting CD: Rawat summoned by CBI

New Delhi:  The CBI on Thursday summoned former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat for questioning in connection with its inquiry into the controversial sting operation CD in which he was allegedly shown talking to a middleman for offering money to some rebel Congress MLAs. Rawat will be appearing at the CBI headquarters on Monday. The sting video, shot by a private channel, showed Rawat talking to a man whose face was not seen. Rawat, however, voiced doubts about the neutrality of the probe agency, questioning the timing. tns
