Sonam’s tribute to Nutan

It was actress Nutan’s birth anniversary recently and Sonam Kapoor, in her special way paid tribute to the actress. Sonam Kapoor posted a picture of her recreating the famous Nutan pose from Saraswatichandra where the yesteryear actress was seen lying on a bed with upper body propped up on her elbows with a letter in her hand.

Sonam posted, “This was an ode to Nutan, my favourite actress from the golden era of Indian cinema besides Waheeda Ji. It’s her birth anniversary today and I just want to say I’m grateful for the legacy she left behind through her brilliant work, Bandhini, Saraswatichandra, Milan, Sujata, Meri Jung to name a few. You were the flag bearer for strong female roles.”
