Dehradun, December 13

The Doon School, Dehradun, has announced that a cricket training programme for schoolboys in association with the MCC Cricket Academy will be held from January 25 to 29 next year.

The MCC Cricket Academy will provide the participating players with coaching at the school level to promote team building and leadership skills. School coaches will also be given training and drills. This training programme is part of the ongoing training undertaking that The Doon School has with the MCC.

The MCC is supported by an outstanding technology, which coincidentally has been developed by an international company in Dehradun and exported worldwide. Pitch Vision will be supporting the MCC again this year, and The Doon School will be buying the technology so that boys could further develop their game skills with school coaches once the school session is under way. The Doon School will be the first school in India to have the MCC technology as until earlier this year not even the Indian test team was using it.
