Six killed in road mishaps
Sonepat, August 3
Three youths identified as Sachin (35) of Jakholi village in the district and his brothers-in-law (wife’s brothers) Rajinder (30) and Pankaj (27) of Dulehra village in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh died on the spot when their car hit a tree near Jakholi village this morning.
A woman identified as Neelam was also seriously injured in the mishap. She was admitted to a hospital in Delhi.
Ambala: Three persons were killed and four sustained injuries in collision between two cars near the IOCL depot on NH-1 here today. The mishap occurred after the driver of one of the cars jumped the road divider and hit the car coming from the opposite direction. Ashish, Salman and Gani died on the spot. — OC
