A gurmat samagam was organised by Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust at Gurdwara Sri Guru Arjun Dev at Domana, near here today.

The programme was organised under the patronage of Sant Tejwant Singh, Dera Mukhi, Sant Pura Danna, to mark the 350th parkash purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh and in the memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh ji Danna.

A large number of people from different parts of the state attended the samagam.

Bhai Nirmal Singh ji, Hazuri Ragi, Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar, and Bhai Sahib Bhai Kawarpal Singh, Dehradun waley, recited shabad kirtan and said teachings and principles of the tenth Guru were more relevant today and could be helpful in bringing peace in the world.

Meanwhile, an announcement was also made on the occasion regarding the opening of a smart school on the CBSE pattern in the current session. — TNS
