The Clement Town police busted a sex racket here today. The police arrested eight persons, including six women, for their alleged role in running the sex racket.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a house at Pragati Vihar, Clement Town. The police brought eight accused to police station for further investigation, while two accused escaped from the spot.

It was revealed during investigation that the sex racket was being run on a rented accommodation of a retired Army officer. The king pin were Rama Krishna, a resident of Kolkata, West Bengal, and Gaurabh Sharma, a resident of Ambala, Haryana. The identity of six women accused was not disclosed by the police.

The manhunt for the two absconding accused continues, while arrested eight accused were sent to the jail, the police said.
