Bad news for Messi as Croatia threatens rotation

Missing Argentina fan in Kerala found dead

Kottayam: The body of a 30-year-old Argentina fan was recovered from a river near here today. Dinu Alex was missing since he left his home in Arumanoor near here on Friday, saying, in a note, he was going to end his life upset over Argentina’s loss to Croatia.  

FIFA investigates players’ pro-Kosovo celebrations 

Moscow: FIFA opened disciplinary proceedings against Swiss players Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri over their pro-Kosovo goal celebrations during the 2-1 win against Serbia. Both players trace their roots to Kosovo, a former province of Serbia that declared independence in 2008 in a move that Belgrade still refuses to recognise.
