The Haryana Government has decided that court cases would be monitored by members of the State Accounts Subordinate (SAS) cadre posted in departments, boards and corporations to minimise litigation.

Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu said after the receipt of a court notice in a civil suit, the matter would be examined by SAS members in the light of provisions of service rules, instructions or litigation policy applicable in the case.

After detailed examination with regard to the petitioner’s claim, SAS members would give their comments along with relevant provisions of service rules applicable in that case —TNS
