Saroj Pandey BJP in-charge for MC poll

Chandigarh: BJP president Amit Shah has appointed national general secretary Saroj Pandey the party in-charge for the MC elections in Chandigarh, to be held in the third week of December. A senior BJP leader said Pandey’s appointment would strengthen the party’s election campaign. The challenge before Pandey would be to bring four camps in the BJP — those of MP Kirron Kher, city unit chief Sanjay Tandon, former MP Satya Pal Jain and former Union Minister Harnohan Dhawan — together for the MC poll. — TNS
