GIC win kabaddi finals

Governemnt Inter College (GIC), Garhkhet, junior team won the Kabaddi final match at the Rural Sports and Cultural Fest here today.

The event was being held at Garhkhet village in Tehri Garhwal district.

The GIC team defeated Surkhanda Club Bicchoo Village by a margin of 23-08 and lifted the coveted trophy in the junior division.

In the primary division, Bicchoo Sports Club defeated Thal Sports Club by a margin of 15-11.

In the volleyball semi-final match, Navyug Baghi Juansaar Village defeated Bhadraj Valleey Sports Club by a margin of 2-1.

In the cultural eve that was organised yesterday, Kuldeep Sharma, a renowned singer from Himachal Pradesh, enthralled the audience. Reshma Shah, a singer from the Jaunpur development region, also mesmerised the audience.

The fest is being organised by the Paryatan Ghati Krida Evam Sanskritik Vikas Samiti at Garhkhet village in Tehri Gharwal district.
