Rose fest: 326 enjoy chopper ride on last day

Chandigarh: As many as 326 people enjoyed chopper ride on the last day of the Rose Festival here on Sunday. It remained a hit on all three days of the festival as people from the tricity and the nearby areas came to enjoy the ride.

It remained a hit on all three days of the festival as people from the tricity and the nearby areas came to enjoy the ride. Col Anil Raj, CEO of Green Hawk Air Private Limited, which provided the helicopter ride, said due to lack of time they could not accommodate around 150 persons today. 

The MC hired the firm, which provided ride for Rs 3,500 per  person. Two helicopters were kept for flying at a height of 600ft to 700ft. 

The seven-minute ride included Sector 17 Parade Ground to Sukhna Lake to Rose Garden and then back to Sector 17.

Around 222 persons enjoyed the ride on Saturday. — TNS
