Chandigarh: Rohit Seth has been unanimously elected as the president of the Central Administrative Tribunal Bar Association, Chandigarh.

The general House meeting of the association unanimously elected the new executive committee for the year 2015-2016. Other new office-bearers are KK Thakur (vice-president); Nidhi Garg (secretary); Ravinder Pal Singh (joint secretary); and JR Syal (treasurer).

Zirakpur: Devinder Pal Sharma was unanimously elected as the president of the Highland Cooperative House Building Society, Baltana, here on Sunday. Other new office-bearers of the society are Suruchi Suri (vice-president), Manjit Singh Saini (general secretary), Radhika Goel (treasurer) and Gautam Jaura (joint secretary). Members are Kiran Pal Singh, Prem Singh Thakur, Jeevan Passi and Dinesh Sharma. — TNS
