Road to connect highways

AMBALA: Health Minister Anil Vij said yesterday that 34-km-long road project linking Ambala-Jagadhari, Ambala-Delhi, Ambala-Chandigarh, Ambala-Naraingarh and Ambala-Hisar national highways would be finalised soon.

Health Minister Anil Vij said yesterday that 34-km-long road project linking Ambala-Jagadhari, Ambala-Delhi, Ambala-Chandigarh, Ambala-Naraingarh and Ambala-Hisar national highways would be finalised soon. He said 19-km-long ring road encircling Ambala Cantonment had also been finalised.

Vij said the blue print had been prepared. Similarly, a 15-km-long road would be built from Saddopur village located on the Ambala-Chandigarh highway to Ambala-Hisar highway. He said four railway over bridges would be constructed on the Ambala-Delhi, Ambala-Chandigarh, Ambala-Amritsar and Ambala-Saharanpur railway section.—OC
