Protest held over no water supply

Residents of Indira Nagar Colony and adjoining areas held a demonstration at the Jal Sansthan office here today. They said the officiasl concerned should take effective steps to overcome the shortage of potable water in different colonies of the city.

The protesters gathered at the Jal Sansthan office and raised slogans against the department. They said there was no water supply to Indira Nagar and adjoining colonies for the last 20 days.

“We have to fetch potable water for daily needs from nearby colonies. We will intensify our stir in case our problem is not solved,” they warned.
