Police take out road march in Ramban

In order to keep the policemen active and alert, the Ramban police organised a road march at the district subdivision level this morning.

The march was started from the District Police Lines, Ramban.

It concluded at the Baglihar dam in Chanderkot after traversing 12 kilometres through the Ramban market, Mehad, Karol, Boom and the Chanderkot bazaar.

The march was flagged off by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ramban, Randeep Kumar. As many as 250 policemen and officers took part in it.

While addressing the officers and policemen, the Ramban SSP said such activities were necessary for the robust health of police personnel and for overcoming stress.

He added that it boosted their morale, raised the standard of public conduct and reposed the confidence of the people in the police as well.
