Playback singers perform at Bali’s birthday bash

DHARAMSALA: Famous Bollywood music composer Lalit Pandit today performed at the event organized in Nagrota Bagwan to mark the birthday of Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Transport and Technical Education.

Famous Bollywood music composer Lalit Pandit today performed at the event organized in Nagrota Bagwan to mark the birthday of Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Transport and Technical Education. Aman Trikha and Pratibha Bagel playback singers and performer from Mumbai also enthralled the audience.

Besides, local artists from Punjab and Himachal also performed. State Minister for Agriculture Sujjan Singh Pathania, Congress MLAs, including Sohan Lal, Rohit Thakur and Rakesh Kalia, were also present on the occasion to wish GS Bali. On the first day of the Bal Mela, Speaker of Himachal Vidhan Sabha BBL Butail and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Rajesh Dharmani had visited Nagrota Bagwan. Vidya Stokes, Minister for IPH, was also scheduled to visit but could not turn up due to alleged ill health.

Interestingly, the Congress MLAs from Kangra belonging to the Virbhadra Singh camp did not turn up at Bali’s birthday bash.

A medical camp in which experts from leading hospitals of Delhi and Chandigarh gave free medical advice and medicines to patients was the main feature of mela. About 5,000 patients were registered at the camps.
