PACL agents protest against SEBI, Centre

A large number of agents of Punjab Agro Chemicals Limited (PACL) Finance Company on Thursday held a protest demonstration against the company’s owner, SEBI and Central Government.

Led by Sardar Singh, an agent of the company and a former zila parishad member, the agitators raised slogans against the Central Government for its failure to bring back the hard-earned money of the people of the area who had deposited it through local agents.

Later, the agents submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh through the local SDM. They said PACL was a private finance company. — OC
