No loss of life was reported as the fire victims were given shelter in a senior secondary school near the village and provided food and warm clothing. The nearby villagers came to their rescue and accommodated them in their houses.

The fire erupted in the village around 11.30 pm last night but the district administration was alerted around 1 am on Sunday.

DC, Shimla, Rohan Chand Thakur said the link road to the village was blocked. SDM Rohru along with a team reached on foot on the snow blocked road at 2 am and monitored the rescue operation.
