One killed as truck falls into gorge

DEHRADUN: One person was killed and another injured when a truck (HR-38 U 7313) fell into a gorge in Jaunsar Bavar area of Dehradun yesterday.

One person was killed and another injured when a truck (HR-38 U 7313) fell into a gorge in Jaunsar Bavar area of Dehradun yesterday.

The incident happened around 10.40 pm near Kanu when the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve. The truck fell into a 150-m-deep gorge.

The injured was rushed to the Community Health Centre for treatment. — TNS
