Ludhiana: India’s leading real estate developer Omaxe Ltd announced the launch of a new residential project-Omaxe Twin Tower, in Ludhiana. Located on Pakhowal Road, Twin Tower is a part of Omaxe Royal Residency, a mini-integrated township. The new offering has both 2-BHK and 3-BHK residential units in area of 1,190 sq ft and 1,550 sq ft, respectively, with world-class amenities, including round-the-clock security and dedicated space for various sporting activities. The newly launched residential apartment has been priced attractively with 2-BHK costing approximately Rs 43 lakh and 3-BHK close to Rs 56 lakh. To make it more attractive and affordable for the consumers, the company has also launched a subvention scheme, implying that consumers only need to pay 10 per cent of the total cost upfront and remaining on possession. Dedicated parking space, 100% power back-up, round-the-clock water supply, amphitheatre and senior citizen lawn are some of the other key features of the project. Mohit Goel, CEO, Omaxe Ltd, said, “Punjab has always remained central to Omaxe’s scheme of things and the new offering is a testimony of our continued commitment towards the development of the state, particularly Ludhiana.”

FICO holds interactive session with Dominican PM

An interaction session of the Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organisation (FICO) was held with Prime Minister of Dominica-Roosevelt Skerrit at Bath Castle here. He also met the office-bearers of FICO and discussed about the business opportunities in Dominica for India. FICO president Gurmit Kular said Ludhiana was mainly known as the Manchester of India in bicycle and hosiery industry, but these were not being exported to Dominica, a part of West Indies. Roosevelt Skerrit invited a delegation of FICO to interact with Dominica. He said there were more than 400 items which can be exported to Dominica. “There is a huge scope of high-end bicycles, automobiles, agriculture implements and garments in Dominica. As China and Taiwan are exporting 90% bicycles to Dominica and there is big scope for India too,” the president said. A delegation of FICO will visit Dominica in October next year, Kular added.

Web portal launched

A website ‘amazedeal.in’ was unveiled by a team of five young entrepreneurs from a start up — Life Imaginers. The USP of the portal is that by paying a very nominal coupon cost, a world of freebies and rock-bottom prices for lifestyle products and services, opens up for prospective shoppers. The web portal has tied up with select food outlets, salon, boutiques, gyms, jewellery stores, hotels, fitness centres, travel services and education providers, etc at more than 250 purchase and service points in the region. — TNS
