Oil tanker runs over woman

AMBALA: Baljeet Kaur (35), a resident of Kodwa Khurd village, was crushed to death under the tyres of an oil tanker near the Guru Gobind Singh chowk in Ambala cantonment on Wednesday.

Baljeet Kaur (35), a resident of Kodwa Khurd village, was crushed to death under the tyres of an oil tanker near the Guru Gobind Singh chowk in Ambala cantonment on Wednesday.

She along with her daughter on her way to her village on an Activa scooter when the accident occurred. She was rushed to the local Civil Hospital and there doctors referred her to the PGI, Chandigarh but died on the way. Baljeet’s daughter was injured in the accident. The oil tanker driver was nabbed on the spot.
