Hosts St John’s School, Sector 26, defeated KPS World School, Mohali, by 7 wickets in the ongoing Blessed Edmund Rice Cricket Tournament for Boys (U-17) today.

The Mohali outfit posted 107 runs for 4 in 20 overs. For their side, both Himanshu (38 runs) and Yash (31 runs) extended the proceedings while for bowling side, Gerry claimed two for 20 runs while Aadilpreet took two for 15 runs.In reply, the winning side achieved the target in 110 runs for 3 in 15 overs with Angad Singh scoring an unbeaten knock of 53 runs. Gerry scored unbeaten 32 runs.

In the second match, St Stephen’s School, Sector 45, defeated St Soldier School, Mohali, by 6 wickets. The losing side scored 123 runs in 20 overs with Ruchin (54 runs) and Harpreet (26 runs) scoring the major share.

For the bowling side Prab claimed one for 23 runs.

In reply, St Stephen’s School scored 125 runs for 4 wickets in 16 overs with Saksham scoring 70 runs and Prab contributing 18 runs. For the Mohali side, Akash claimed two for 26 runs.
