New political party launched

AMBALA: A new political outfit named Aam Janta Party was launched here today. Virender Kapoor, national president of the party, said: “After coming to power, various political parties and leaders start avoiding common people and forget about their problems, while our party will provide a platform where people will have their say.”

A new political outfit named Aam Janta Party was launched here today.

Virender Kapoor, national president of the party, said: “After coming to power, various political parties and leaders start avoiding common people and forget about their problems, while our party will provide a platform where people will have their say.”

“As the name suggests, this is the party of the common people. All members and office-bearers are commoners from different walks of life. We are hopeful that people of Haryana will accept and join us,” he added.

Kapoor said: “The prime motive of the party will be to fight for separate High Court and state capital. The party will ensure financial security, strict laws to protect old aged people and women, improved and job-oriented education system.”

Kapoor, a retired bank manager, said they had decided to float new outfit after lot of deliberations.

The party also announced its office-bearers and presidents of Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra districts on the occasion.
