Nawaz’s new contract

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who will be seen playing role of a contract killer in his upcoming Babumoshai Bandukbaaz, thinks murderers too can be romantic at heart. “My role is of contract killer Babumoshai. He is different, so his expression of love is different too. In Gangs of Wasseypur 2, my role was of a shy person who asked for permission to hold his girlfriend’s hand. Here Babumoshai is fearless. He romances on the basis of the gun,” said Nawaz.

Beside this action thriller, Nawazuddin will also be seen in Nandita Das’ biopic on legendary writer Saadat Hasan Manto. Nawaz shared that he has got the approval of Manto’s daughters with his close-to-original look. He says, “Nandita is on a hotline with his daughters, Nighat, Nusrat and Nuzhat. They felt I have picked up Manto’s physicality. I have felt close to his spirit since my National School of Drama days. I have performed on his plays.”
