Two flyovers will be constructed in the Nagrota Bagwan Assembly Segment at Nagrota Bagwan and Mallan at the cost of Rs 180 crore.

This was stated by Transport, Technical Education and Food and Civil Supplies Minister GS Bali while addressing mediapersons at Nagrota Bagwan today.

Bali expressed gratitude to Union Minister for Surface Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning two flyovers for his constituency.

He said one flyover would connect the Mallan- Massal-Ranital Mubarakpur National Highway with the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway.

He said another flyover would be constructed near Mallan on the railway crossing. He said the Nagrota Bagwan bypass project report was in the final stage of its preparation to ease out traffic pressure on the town.

Bali said Nagrota Bagwan was on the path of development and the Assembly segment was being benefitted by the state and the central government schemes. He said in the Changer belt, a Rs 2.70-crore water supply project for Bhaloglova, Gheen and Jasai panchayats was sanctioned under NABARD.

He said four link roads in the Changer belt would be constructed soon.

Bali heard the grievances of people at Bhaloglova, Gheen, Pathiar, Baroh, Sarotri , Radh, Hatwas , Sheerathana and Rajiana and redressed most of them on the spot.
