The state government today signed an MoU with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the beautification of the area under the 2.7-km elevated highway corridor in Panipat. It was signed in the presence of CM Manohar Lal Khattar. While Chander Shekhar Khare, Panipat DC, signed the MoU on behalf of the state government, BV Rama Gopal, executive director, Panipat Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, signed on behalf of the IOCL. Youth ends life

Arjun Singh (22) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his house in Dashmesh Colony on Tuesday. Arjun’s brother-in-law, Manish Kumar, said no family member was at home when he took the extreme step. Arjun was working in a cloth shop. A case has been registered. TNS
