UNA: The Himachal Pradesh Ministerial Employees Association has extended its support to their Punjab counterpart, who are demanding implementation of the Seventh pay commission recommendations and release of DA arrears.

The Himachal Pradesh Ministerial Employees Association has extended its support to their Punjab counterpart, who are demanding implementation of the Seventh pay commission recommendations and release of DA arrears.

At a meeting chaired by association state president Tara Singh at Bachat Bhawan, he demanded that the HP government should also fulfil their demands.

Tara Singh said since government employees salaries were governed on the basis of Punjab pattern, the notification of the Punjab government regarding pay and allowances dated December 15, 2011, should be implemented by the HP government for its employees.

Tara Singh also demanded one time relaxation for promotion to stenographers, having less qualification. He said demanded to fill vacant posts of clerks and stenographers. Senior vice-president Bhupinder Singh and general secretary Ramesh Thakur, were also present.
