MHAC School principal gets award

Jammu, April 26

The DAV College Management Committee has honoured the principal of Maharaja Harisingh Agri Collegiate (MHAC) School, Nagbani, Sween Puri with Mahatma Hansraj Award.

Pertinently, it is the highest DAV award which has been conferred upon the school principal in recognition of her meritorious and dedicated services in the field of education. The award was given to her at the Mahatma Hansraj Pawan Jayanti function held at Jaipur on April 22. The award was presented to her jointly by president of the management committee, Punam Suri, and Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Himachal Pradesh.

Sween Puri served the cause of holistic education with modern management techniques. She has also been awarded with the Sarla Chopra Memorial Samman in 2008. The staff and students felicitated Sween Puri in a joint assembly. — TNS
