Faridabad, June 5

Tajinder Singh, a 47-year-old local resident, has offered his kidney for sale to come out of a financial crisis. He has been facing problems since his parents were ‘murdered’ in 2002 and the police failed to nab the ‘culprits’.

Residing in a rented accommodation in D Block of the NIT locality here, Tajinder, who used to help his father to run an eatery 13 years ago, is now running from pillar to post to get a job and help to solve the ‘murder’ case.

“I have submitted several applications at the CM window, but to no avail. So, I got pamphlets printed for the sale of my kidney. I took this step to ensure survival of my wife and four children,” said Tajinder.

I have no source of income following the closure of the eatery. I am only matric passed and could not get a better job, he said. He alleged that some persons had denied him his share in ancestral property. They were harassing and threatening him as well.

He alleged that the police got his medical test done at the Civil Hospital recently and labelled him mentally unstable.

His daughter Avneet Kaur (17) secured 93% in Class XII and was still awaiting admission in a college. His three sons aged 15, 11 and 11 are still in school on sponsored fee, he said.
