Man commits suicide in Dhanas

CHANDIGARH:A 40-year-old man today committed suicide after hanging himself at his house in Dhanas.

Chandigarh, October 23 

A 40-year-old man today committed suicide after hanging himself at his house in Dhanas. Sources said the victim, identified as Dal Chand, was found hanging at his house by his children. Chand was staying in the house with his three children.

The police were informed about the incident and after arriving at the spot, they rushed the victim to the Government Multi Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, where doctors declared him brought dead. 

Sources said the victim’s wife was staying separately due to some discord.  

The police didn’t recover any suicide note from the spot. An inquest proceeding has been initiated by the police at the Sarangpur police station.
