A 37-year-old man has been booked for allegedly raping and assaulting his minor wife.
Sources said the victim, who is now 17 years old, from Gauripur village of the district lodged a complaint at the that her family had forcibly married her to a man double her age on March 2, 2014.
She said the accused had been torturing her in captivity.—TNS
