Governor flags off relief for Kashmir flood victims

Governor NN Vohra flagged off relief material from Raj Bhawan here today.

The relief material, meant for distribution to the flood victims in the Valley, includes around two lakh blankets, jerseys and other utility items collected by the Dainik Bhaskar Group from all over India. It will be distributed among Valley residents through the EFICOR, the distribution partner of the Dainik Bhaskar Group.

The Governor, on the occasion, observed that such philanthropic initiatives contribute significantly towards integrating the nation and strengthening ties between the communities. He complimented the Dainik Bhaskar Group for its noble endeavour and urged that the relief material gets into the hands of those who are in need of help.

The Dainik Bhaskar Group was represented among others by Uday Bhaskar, Editor, Jammu Bhaskar, and Tarun Verma, Branding Head, Dainik Bhaskar Group.

Rakesh K Gupta, Principal Secretary to the Governor, was present on the occasion.
