LIP gets ‘letter box’ as symbol

The Lok Insaaf Party will fight the Assembly elections on the party symbol of letter box. The party was issued the election symbol yesterday.

Munish Vinayak, a close aide of LIP supremo Simarjeet Bains, who was camping in Delhi to get the election symbol for the party, said: “We got what we were looking for. We fought the previous elections on the symbol of letter box. People in our constituencies relate the Bains brothers with this election symbol,” said Vinayak.

While Simarjeet was busy campaigning in the Dakha area for political ally and AAP candidate HS Phoolka, the party sources said soon, new posters would dot the constituencies.  Simarjeet fought the 2014 Lok Sabha elections on the election symbol of letter box. Besides Bains brothers from the Atam Nagar and Ludhiana-South constituencies respectively, Vipan Sood from Ludhiana-Central and Randhir Singh Sebia from Ludhiana-North are LIP candidates from here.
