Ludhiana, September 11

Inderpreet Kaur, District Social Security Officer, Ludhiana, said the Social Security, Women and Child Development Department, Punjab, was linking the pension accounts with aadhar cards and mobile numbers so that pensioners don’t face any problem in getting pension and that their proper record is maintained.

She said the work had been completed for rural areas, but a large number of pensioners of the urban areas were yet to get their pension accounts linked with aadhar cards and mobile phones. She has appealed to all pensioners residing in urban areas to get their details updated at their office located in Shimlapuri by 5 pm on September 15. She said pensioners who get their pension directly from banks can get this information updated at those banks.
