Khaps to prevent Saini from entering Charkhi Dadri

All major khaps associated with the Jat community today held a mahapanchayat at Rose Garden here and announced to prevent BJP MP Rajkumar Saini from entering Dadri during his scheduled visit on October 23. Saini is scheduled to visit Charkhi Dadri for an event organised by the Saini Sabha on Sunday.

A delegation of khap representatives made a consensus on the issue to block Saini’s entry in Dadri and later met Dadri SDM Bijender Hooda to hand over a memorandum in this regard.

Nar Singh Sangwan, head of the Sangwan khap, said they would block roads to prevent Saini’s entry owing to his continuous attack on the Jat community.

The khap members told the media that two members from the organisation would remain present on roads from all directions and keep a check on the vehicles entering Charkhi Dadri.

The Sub Divisional Magistrate said an understanding had been reached between organisers and khaps over the issue to cancel the programme of Sunday. He said security had been beefed up at all check posts to prevent any untoward incident.
