Kejriwal will betray Punjabis, warns Badal

MOHALI: Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today said AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal belonged to Haryana and he was not bothered about the interests of the people of Punjab. The CM today inaugurated Kisan Chamber here. Talking to the media, Badal lashed out at Kejriwal over his recent statement on Punjab waters. “It is to be noted that Kejriwal had stated that the Punjab’s waters belonged to the entire country,” he said.

Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today said AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal belonged to Haryana and he was not bothered about the interests of the people of Punjab.

The CM today inaugurated Kisan Chamber here. Talking to the media, Badal lashed out at Kejriwal over his recent statement on Punjab waters. “It is to be noted that Kejriwal had stated that the Punjab’s waters belonged to the entire country,” he said.

“The Kisan Chamber will go a long way in benefitting the farmers. We have given you (farmers) the platform. Now it’s up to you to utilise it for the larger interests of farmers and agriculture in the state,” he said while addressing the farmers.

It is to be noted that after giving 2 acres of land free of cost, the government has spent Rs 20 crore on construction of the chamber. Besides a corpus of Rs 10 crore has also been provided to the authorities for its smooth functioning.
