JBT teachers hold protest

Chandigarh, May 17

‘Selected’ JBT teachers who have been awaiting their appointments held demonstration outside Shiksha Sadan in Panchkula today.

The teachers, many of them women, have been sitting on dharna in support of their demands for the past three days.

Rajinder Sharma, president of the striking teachers, said 9,455 JBT teachers selected in August 2014 had been waiting appointment since then.
